Per item or individual lot sold up to $50.00 is 50%, over $50 is 35% this includes our marketing and advertising. Some items will quality for a 30% commission if over $500. If we are in the Tens of thousands then the commission is negotiated depending variables. FIREARMS: up to $500 is 25%, over $500 up to $750 is 22.5% over $750 is 20%.
As inventory arrives we list it and assign it a "Seller's Number" for example "4". As we display it for auction it is inventoried and given a number so now the first item is 4-1, second item 4-2 and so on. When it sells a computerized Consignor Settlement printout with description and price is given to the seller by email and then hard copy with payment.
We hold an auction every other week. Which could be a Friday or Saturday depending on our consignments. Saturday are Fine Jewelry, Furniture, Firearms, Collections, Collectibles and more. Friday’s are tools, useful items, average furniture, collectibles & more. This can be estates & consignments or Specialty auctions. Commercial auctions can be during the week or a weekend. Each auction usually has around 400 lots in them.
We schedule our drop offs as appointments usually Tuesday – Friday 10-4.
Yes, we really appreciate pictures and they can be emailed to infogorman@gmail.com and if needed, we can schedule a "walk-thru" if there is a lot.
Yes, if you cannot bring the items yourself we use an outside moving company. They charge $90.00 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours.
All unsold items will be disposed of unless prior agreement is made for the seller to pick up unsold items. The auction Company will try to donate unsold items instead of charging a disposal fee to the seller. Some items will be tried through 2 auctions.
Yes, verbal or written appraisals are $200 for the 1st hour and $100 for each additional hour. Verbal appraisal are given on items brought into the auction at the rate of $100 per hour (charged to the near quarter), unless items are being consigned.
