Debbie was raised in the auction business.
However out of school she went into the finance business from 1974 to 1980. She manage Okla Morris Plan Saving and Loan, then she was the first Women in Oklahoma to be a Finance Insurance Manager in the Automobile Industry. In 1980 she Bought her first auction in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
Bob with a back ground in Agriculture, Ranching and construction soon found a love for auctions. He graduated from auction school and then attended CAI (Certified Auction Institute).
He started auctioneering that same year. They ran the auction house a couple of years and then sold it. Debbie was a stay at home Mom for a few years and Bob continued calling auctions.
They worked for several companies. Padgett Auction Services, Duckwall & Company, James Leake Industries, Kruse International, Mr. Eds Auctions, Davis Auction House....
Then in the mid 80's they started their own company again. Gorman Auction Gallery in Muskogee Oklahoma in 1990 they sold it and moved to Colorado.
